Batf Adhesive Solutions Makes Debut at China Adhesives and Adhesive Tape Industry Annual Conference

On September 5-6, the 27th China Adhesives and Adhesive Tape Industry Annual Conference, themed "Persisting in Technological Innovation and Cultivating New-Quality Productivity," was grandly held in Hefei. The event attracted over 930 participants, including representatives from domestic and international adhesive, sealant, and adhesive tape manufacturers, engineers, technical personnel, raw material suppliers, distributors, equipment manufacturers, as well as experts and scholars from research institutes.

This year's conference also invited 85 representatives from well-known enterprises and research institutes, both domestic and international, to deliver keynote speeches. These speakers explored new technologies, trends, opportunities, and hot topics in the adhesive and adhesive tape industry under the current landscape. Dr. Shu Shujun, General Manager of the Batf Group's Innovation R&D Center and Director of the Shanghai Innovation Research Institute, was invited to attend and presented a keynote speech titled "Batf's Diversified Adhesive Solutions and Application Scenarios." This marked Bardef's first appearance at the China Adhesives and Adhesive Tape Industry Annual Conference, with their innovative adhesive solutions and premium products drawing significant attention.

Globally, the adhesive market has shown an average annual compound growth rate of approximately 9.74% from 2012 to 2022, with more than half of the demand coming from Asia. China accounts for about half of the adhesive demand in Asia. China's adhesive industry has seen a compound annual growth rate of around 4.97% during this decade, and by 2030, sales are expected to reach RMB 150 billion. The demand expansion is mainly driven by emerging markets such as 5G communications, new energy vehicles, composite materials, and smart devices. Adhesives have broad applications across various sectors, with water-based adhesives holding a significant market share, particularly as environmental concerns continue to rise.

In the adhesive sector, diverse needs have given rise to a wide range of solutions, including acrylic resins, silicone resins, EVA resins, polyurethane, and UV resins. Dr. Shu noted that Batf has long been committed to promoting global water-based solutions. By gaining deep insights into industry demands, the company has developed a series of innovative water-based adhesive products, including but not limited to pressure-sensitive adhesives, laminating adhesives, battery adhesives, white glues, and packaging adhesives, all of which provide customized solutions across industries.

Batf has also showcased its expertise in the lithium battery sector. Dr. Shu analyzed the current state of the lithium battery industry and elaborated on Batf's product lineup in this field. He highlighted the features and application advantages of Batf's adhesive solutions for lithium battery applications, especially focusing on the performance and benefits of their anode adhesives. These products not only meet the industry's demand for high-performance adhesives but also contribute to the technological advancement and sustainable development of the lithium battery sector.

In the solvent-free adhesive domain, Batf’s PUR (polyurethane reactive) solvent-free adhesive series offers environmentally friendly and efficient bonding solutions for industries such as woodworking, textiles, automotive, electronics, home appliances, and footwear, resonating with the audience.

Through this presentation, Batf Group fully demonstrated its strong capabilities and innovative achievements in the adhesive field, deepening customer understanding of its water-based adhesive product range and enhancing their confidence in Batf’s products.
